hypnosis

what is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural and deeply relaxed state of focused awareness similar to the moments just before you fall asleep or become lost in thought. In this state, your conscious mind quiets down, making it easier to access your subconscious, the part of your mind that stores habits, beliefs, and emotional patterns.

Using guided suggestions, breathwork, and visualization, hypnosis helps you gently shift thought patterns, behaviors, and reactions that may be holding you back in life. You’re always in control and fully aware, but more open to change, clarity, and insight.

Rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience, hypnotherapy has been shown to calm overactive brain activity (like overthinking and self-doubt), support emotional regulation, and create new pathways for growth and healing.

Whether you're seeking clarity, release, or breakthrough, hypnotherapy meets you where you are and supports you in becoming who you’re meant to be.

HOW IT WORKS

HOW IT WORKS /

Step 1

Ground + Connect

Every session begins with a grounded conversation to understand your goals, what’s coming up for you, and how you’d like to feel. This helps us tailor your experience to your unique needs.

Step 2

Relax + Receive

You’ll be gently guided into a relaxed, meditative state using breathwork and visualization. In this state, your subconscious becomes more open and receptive to healing suggestions.

Step 3

Rewire + Realign

With your conscious mind at rest, we introduce new thought patterns, perspectives, or insights to help shift limiting beliefs, ease emotional blocks, and support deep transformation.

Frequently asked questions

  • Hypnosis feels like a deeply relaxed, focused state; similar to how you might feel just before falling asleep or during a long meditation. Your body may feel heavy or light, and your mind may drift while still hearing the sound of my voice. You remain aware on some level, but it’s common to lose track of time or feel like you were in a dreamlike state. Everyone experiences hypnosis a little differently. Some feel very present while others feel like they “went somewhere else.”

  • It varies. Some clients experience noticeable shifts after one session, especially for targeted issues. For deeper or long-standing patterns, a series of sessions is often recommended. The results tend to build over time, especially when combined with reinforcement practices between sessions.

  • Yes. You don’t have to be naturally calm to be hypnotized. Many clients arrive feeling anxious, restless, or distracted, and still enter a hypnotic state with guidance. Hypnosis is a skill that improves with trust, practice, and repetition.

  • Not always. Some clients remember the entire experience clearly, while others feel like parts of it are hazy or completely forget what was said. This is normal and not a sign that anything went wrong — it’s simply a reflection of how deeply the subconscious mind was engaged. Even if conscious memory is limited, your subconscious still receives and integrates the suggestions.

  • Hypnosis is generally safe when facilitated by a trained professional. However, it’s not recommended for individuals with certain mental health conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, or dissociative disorders without medical clearance. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I always assess each client’s readiness to ensure sessions are supportive, grounded, and appropriate for their needs.

  • Hypnotherapy is a versatile tool for healing and growth. It can support you through life transitions, ease symptoms of stress and anxiety, promote restful sleep, enhance focus, aid in trauma recovery, and even improve performance in areas like sports or public speaking. Each session is personalized to help you shift subconscious patterns and step into a more empowered version of yourself.
